Imagine a future where you develop world-class applications for wind turbine technicians who work for a greener future at one of the world's largest offshore operators

Join us in this role where you’ll shape and implement in-field mobile applications that enable technicians to perform inspections and troubleshoot our wind turbines. You’ll be involved in both backend and frontend product development, and we expect you to have a customer-oriented mindset with a desire to also want to help drive and define the future directions of the applications on top of performing the technical software development tasks. Our ambition is to power and connect a workplace where everyone can thrive, perform, and grow.

Welcome to Ørsted IT
You’ll be part of our Service Execution Apps team within the Business Applications Agile Release Train (ART) where you, together with your colleagues, will develop and maintain products whose ambition is that all service done in-field is done safely, efficiently and continuously improves how we operate. The apps are used by hundreds of Ørsted’s technicians and contractors globally and the team uses application insights and direct feedback from users to shape the product roadmaps, ensuring we solve the right problems with high customer satisfaction and business value. As a team, we are diverse, international, and cross-functional, working with an agile mindset. We offer a Scandinavian working culture, focusing on diversity and inclusion, and value work-life balance.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • shaping and implementing the development roadmap for several applications used in the field
  • being the technical application responsible for our troubleshooting application, which is a SaS solution
  • handling incidents to ensure technicians can get their work done safely and efficiently, minimising business impact
  • application life-cycle management and maintenance to ensure our products are reliable and secure
  • being a team player and supporting your colleagues with code reviews and testing to ensure high quality while actively engaging in sprint plannings, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • are very experienced in .NET and understand clean code principles and object-oriented programming
  • are experienced in developing apps, preferably in React Native, and are familiar with front-end development, preferably Angular
  • are proficient in Cloud technologies and container technologies, such as DevOps, Kubernetes, Git Repository, Build and Release (CI/CD) as well as in Relational Database Management Systems (RDMS), such as SQL Server
  • are fluent in written and spoken English and able to communicate complicated issues in a structured and clear manner, and you are good at working independently with teams that are not in the same location or time-zone
  • are a team player with a collaborative spirit, naturally engaging in a diverse team - being open to reassessing your methods and eager to exchange insights with the team.

Maybe you’ve read the above and can see you have some transferable skills, even though they don’t quite match all the points. If you think you can bring something to the team, we still encourage you to apply.
