Solution Manager for Trading Express

Join us in this role where you’ll as part of the leadership oversee the strategic alignment and collective architecture discipline within the Trading Express delivery organization. Together with the Product Manager, you will set the digital strategy for the trading area, ensuring that the solutions align with the broader business objectives and IT strategy. You will create, maintain, and communicate an up-to-date architectural runway and relevant artifacts. Your leadership will make you accountable for the current/future technology stack, ensuring the right technology choices are made to match the set-out architectural runway.

You’ll be part of Trading Express leadership team where you, together with your colleagues, will in close collaboration with the Product Manager, Technical Product Owner, and Release Train Engineer - constitute a delivery organization that steers the value-enabling solutions at the right quality level. Your strategic direction will be crucial in ensuring that the solutions delivered are aligned with the broader business objectives and IT strategy, driving value creation and operational excellence. You will operate within a global matrix organization across various cultures and time zones.

You’ll play an important role in:
- leading the overall architecture discipline within Trading Express to ensure the system landscape evolves appropriately to Ørsted’s trading and revenue activities while aligning with the IT strategy
- leading the architectural community of application and solution architects within the Trading Express organization
- communicating architectural decisions to stakeholders and guiding architects and teams
- collaborating with Enterprise, Application, Security, and Infrastructure architects to incorporate company-wide architectures and address challenges
To succeed in the role, you:
- have extensive experience in developing architectures and architecture guidelines and designs for large corporations
- are an experienced leader who has managed technical programs, people, larger initiatives, or similar, with a focus on improvement of business value chain and reducing waste
- possess strong communication skills at all levels and are dedicated to supporting the professional development of other architects
- understand how to utilize the teams’ strengths using cross-functional competencies
- are familiar with agile frameworks like SAFe®, DevOps and thrives in such a setting.
- preferably have former experience within the energy or financial sector.
