Welcome to Global Real Estate & Workplace Management

You’ll be a part of Workplace Development, a small but dedicated team with the mandate and responsibility to implement Ørsted’s workplace concept, ’Love your workplace’, across Ørsted’s offices and sites globally.  Workplace Development focuses on creating and implementing activity-based design. Our mission is to drive workplace transformation through strategic planning, collaboration, and continuous improvement, ensuring spaces that promote productivity, well-being, and sustainability.

We take it upon ourselves to role model how well-designed and innovative workplace solutions can connect and bring people together effortless and with great care for each other.  

You’ll play an important role in:

  • driving the creative vision and strategic direction of workplace design, ensuring that spaces are not only aesthetically appealing but also functional and aligned with the organizational objectives
  • collaborating with cross-functional teams and externals, including architects, engineers, and workplace strategists, to align design with business needs
  • conducting research and gathering insights into employee needs and work styles to create functional and flexible spaces and keep up with market trends and evolvement of workplace strategies
  • taking ownership, development, and maintenance of Ørsted Design Manual and furniture catalogue
  • leading the collaboration with Ørsted Branding and Diversity & Inclusion network
  • leading stakeholder meetings and presenting design concepts and location analysis.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • have a higher educational level: bachelor’s or master's degree within Architecture or Spatial design
  • have experience in working in/with large Danish/global corporation and in working with activity-based design
  • mastering graphic design, AutoCAD, InDesign, or other design programs
  • thrive in cross-disciplinary collaboration both nationally and internationally
  • are structured, result oriented, and self-driven with a positive attitude.

Please note that you’re expected to do some travelling in relation to your work, as our responsibility covers Ørsted’s global offices and sites. Workplace Development is part of our global Real Estate organisation anchored in People & Development. We have colleagues at all major offices and sites, with whom we work closely together with, both virtually and in local settings at ongoing projects.
