Stakeholder Relations Manager, New York

Welcome to Corporate Affairs

You’ll be part of New York Government Affairs and Market Strategy where you, together with your colleagues, will support the the operations and management of Southfork Wind and the development of Sunrise Wind. You’ll be collaborating with colleagues in assert management, government and regulatory affairs, public affairs, and permitting. As a team, we collaborate in a dynamic, positive, and supportive work environment to create a world that runs entirely on green energy.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • Maintaining positive working relationships with key stakeholders on Long Island
  • Supporting wind farm operations and management, and de-risking project development
  • Managing community grants and partnerships
  • Supporting the organization’s public meetings, events, and speaking opportunities
  • Collaborating with public affairs and marketing colleagues to leverage Southfork Wind and Sunrise Wind success to promote Ørsted’s capabilities, brand, and industry potential

To succeed in the role, you:

  • Have three to five years of experience working with elected officials, regulators, environmental NGOs, and local community organizations on Long Island
  • Are able to work independently and with a wide range of stakeholder interests
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Team player with a professional track record of adding value through collaborative work with colleagues
  • Able to work on a weekly basis on Long Island
