Join us in this role where you’ll be an essential contributor to project execution by ensuring that critical shipments arrive in the US and are processed by Customs on schedule. You’ll have a significant role in the projects' financial results by optimizing duty obligations and payments through coordination with many different teams and stakeholders.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • appointing and liaising with our customs brokers and internal staff to ensure that the relevant customs declarations are filed with appropriate authorities meeting all compliance obligations
  • liaising with suppliers in relation to import/export requirements for shipments to the U.S.
  • clarifying customs matters and preparing customs documents in cooperation with suppliers
  • liaising with the Finance and Tax teams to optimize financial implications and ensure custom duties are paid
  • preparing, filing, and coordinating required import documents, certificates of origins, etc.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • have at minimum a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • have at least three years of experience coordinating imports and customs for shipments to the U.S.
  • thrive in a fast-paced environment with many simultaneous priorities
  • function well with autonomy
  • possess outstanding communication skills.
