WTG Control System Engineer - Power Optimisation Products for Offshore Wind Operations

Join us in this role where you’ll have a specific focus on developing products to ensure maximum power production while enduring structural integrity as part of our team. As a WTG control Engineer, you’ll help discover, design, develop, and maintain products and models, giving our wind park owners maximum revenue by ensuring optimal WTG operation with optimised power production and WTG lifetime.

You’ll be part of our Advanced Analytics team where you, together with your colleagues, will help deliver our digital strategy. You’ll also be part of the Power Optimisation team and work closely with WTG engineers, data scientists, and software engineers where you’ll be involved in the entire process from WTG operation analysis to executing improvements. Through team collaboration and stakeholder meetings, you’ll become an expert in analysing operational WTG data and optimising WTG power and turbine integrity.
You’ll play an important role in:
- performing advanced data analysis of operational wind turbine data
- developing and maintaining algorithms for automated monitoring of wind turbines
- collaborating with other specialists within loads, electrical, and mechanical and system engineering.
To succeed in the role, you:
- are curious and quick to learn from our wide range of technical and commercial experts
- have a strong analytical mindset and dare to be original
- are experienced with high level programming such as Python, MATLAB, R, etc.
